Master the skills needed for soldering, desoldering, and working with EEPROMs in automotive ECUs. This hands-on course is built for locksmiths who want to expand their capabilities in module work and immobilizer programming.
What You’ll Learn:
- Component Identification & Soldering Techniques – Properly identify, solder, and desolder immobilizer components inside automotive ECUs.
- EEPROM Basics & Advanced Applications – Learn to read, modify, and reprogram EEPROM data using real-world tools.
- In-Circuit vs. Removal Techniques – Work with both in-circuit reading and chip removal for deeper EEPROM access.
- Hands-On Training with Industry Tools – Work in pairs using VVDI Prog, Tango, and laptops to complete real-time programming tasks.
- Real-World Module Work – Hands-on experience with Toyota ECUs, Saab CIM, Volvo Blue/Black Box, EWS3, EWS4, and Mercedes EIS.
Who Should Attend:
Locksmiths looking to expand into ECU and module programming. No prior EEPROM experience required, but basic key programming knowledge is recommended.
